Product: Clothes Iron

Ironio is a sculpture as much as an iron. It is designed to blend into the decor in your home.
Started the project by sketching different concepts. These were more about visual quality of the product rather than the functionality. Main goal was to come up with a simple, clean form.
Later I created mock-ups out of foam to test the design with users to understand if the concepts fit the ergonomics.
After several iterations, the design was complete with a minimalistic form that resembled a sculpture. You could put it anywhere in the house and it wouldn’t look out of place.
